Information we collect
CarrierOS collects the account information you provide, such as your name, company, business email, and password hash. It also stores fleet, load, driver-pay, fuel, financial, compliance, onboarding, document, detention, and receivables information that you enter into your private company workspace.
How we use information
We use this information to provide, secure, support, and improve CarrierOS; enforce workspace and plan limits; and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information.
Storage and service providers
Application data is stored in a database on our hosting infrastructure. We may use limited service providers for hosting, security, email, analytics, or billing. Google Analytics processes limited website-usage information, and Stripe processes subscription payment details. CarrierOS does not store raw card or bank-account numbers.
Document-audit uploads
When you choose to use the separate audit tool for a supported RateCon, business bank statement, or bill, CarrierOS processes the file in memory and discards that raw audit upload after the analysis completes. We retain its filename, content type, size, SHA-256 checksum, linked record, extracted figures, and structured findings.
Operational RateCon inbox
When the RateCon-to-dispatch inbox is enabled for your workspace, CarrierOS retains the uploaded RateCon in private storage so authorized users can review and download it. We also retain its checksum, security and processing status, retention date, extracted fields, confidence, page and evidence references, human corrections, match candidates, differences, approvals, and access audit events. Documents use organization-specific private keys and expiring application download tokens; CarrierOS does not intentionally publish raw object URLs. Do not upload banking credentials, full account numbers, tax IDs, Social Security numbers, identity documents, or files you are not authorized to process.
Referral program
For invited referral partners, CarrierOS stores the partner's name, email, referral code, terms-acceptance record, attributed customer workspace, commission amounts, adjustments, eligibility dates, and payout records. Private portal tokens are stored only as one-way hashes. The partner portal shows aggregate and transaction-level earnings information but does not disclose referred customer names. We use referral data to attribute subscriptions, calculate and document commissions, prevent abuse, and satisfy accounting, tax, security, and legal obligations.
Cookies and website analytics
CarrierOS uses a signed session cookie to keep users logged in and protect their workspace. Browser storage may cache static application files for performance and installability. We use Google Analytics to understand visits, page paths, device and browser categories, and website interactions so we can improve CarrierOS and measure marketing performance. CarrierOS configures analytics page locations without URL query parameters. Google may set or read analytics cookies as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can limit analytics through your browser settings or Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
Retention and choices
We retain account and workspace data while an account is active and as reasonably needed for security, legal, backup, and business purposes. To request access, correction, export, or deletion, contact us at david@outsidethewirelogistics.com. Some records may be retained where required or permitted by law.
Sensitive data
Do not enter Social Security numbers, bank credentials, payment-card data, identity-document images, health records, or other highly sensitive information into CarrierOS. Enter payment information only on Stripe-hosted pages reached through CarrierOS billing.
Security and changes
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as CarrierOS evolves and will post the current version here.
