Onboarding
Invite an office user into the correct private company workspace with an appropriate role.
What this tab is for
Onboarding creates a time-limited invitation for a user to join the organization. The selected role controls what that user can view or manage.
How to use it
- 1
Enter the person's name and business email.
- 2
Choose the least-privilege role that matches the work they must perform.
- 3
Create the invitation and send the private onboarding link to that person through a trusted channel.
- 4
Ask the invitee to set their own password and confirm access.
- 5
Review company users and remove or change access when responsibilities end.
What to understand
- Private link
- Treat an unused onboarding link as sensitive because it grants entry to the organization.
- Least privilege
- Do not give owner or administrator access for routine read-only or dispatch work.
- Company boundary
- Every invited user belongs to the same isolated organization workspace.
Good operating habits
- Confirm the email address before sharing the invitation.
- Do not share one login across multiple people.
